Chad Liu is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and Co-chairman and Founder of Fangyuan Financial Holdings Group, and boasts more than 20 years of domestic and overseas securities investment experience. He joined the asset management high-interest debt team of the U.S.-based firm Morgan Stanley in the 1990s, serving as the Executive Director and Fund Manager, and was the first Chinese to enter the global U.S. dollar dominated high-interest debt investment field.
Mr. Liu was later appointed Director of the Hong Kong Proprietary Investment Department of Deutsche Bank. In 2008, he co-founded Fangyuan Financial Holdings Group with Philip Wu, Justice of the Peace, and former shareholder and CEO of Wing Lung Bank. Fangyuan Financial Holdings Group mainly provides fund management services in Hong Kong and America for global institutional investors, and offers entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals with specialized private bank accounts, family offices, family trusts, and other wealth management services. He has an MBA from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Finance from Wuhan University.
